Role Description
The Senior Account Executive (“SAE”) is a 100% commission-based role requiring the successful candidate to regularly prospect, qualify and negotiate price-competitive payment processing service contracts with medium and large business clients. Sales targets are required to remain in good standing. Qualified leads will be provided. The SAE will be expected to know, or quickly learn, Elavon’s full product suite and services (product training will be provided). Additionally, the following are considered essential aspects of the SAE role:
- Investigate selling opportunities within existing and new markets; cultivate and maintain prospect pipeline and business relationships through strategic networking initiatives.
- Provide recommendations, analysis to management related to card processing opportunities.
- Prepare and present written proposals to prospective clients and assist them in making fully informed decisions about their business by offering honest and fact-based solutions to them.

Your previous work experience includes B2C and/or B2B sales, ideally in the financial services and/or fintech industry. Consequently, you have an established network of businesses to prospect from, as you enjoy meeting clients, forging new relationships and providing superior customer service and after-service. Your refined negotiation skills, proven ability to close, ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision make you the ideal candidate for this potentially lucrative and rewarding position.
Credentials and Qualifications
- 2+ years of previous B2C and/or B2B work experience successfully selling financial services and products.
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com.
- University degree (Preferred)
- Exceptional analytical skills and a comfort working with numbers.
- Superior communication and refined interpersonal skills.
Preferred Candidate Qualities
- Previous experience working with a payment processor in a sales capacity
- Fluency in English and one or more language
